We have partnered with our client in their search for an Interim Senior Accountant.
Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to support a growing finance team in a hands-on capacity. This role will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial reporting, supporting the close process, and helping strengthen accounting operations in a dynamic environment.
This role is a W2 hourly interim position through Korn Ferry and requires hybrid onsite in the Providence, RI area.
Responsibilities:
- Support and help drive the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain general ledger integrity and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
- Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis
- Support audit readiness and documentation of accounting processes and policies
- Manage bank reconciliations and assist with cash-related activities
- Contribute to process improvements and overall efficiency within the accounting function
- Partner with finance leadership on ad hoc projects and system/process enhancements
Skills Required:
- Active CPA preferred (or in progress)
- 3-5+ years of accounting experience, including public accounting or a strong corporate foundation
- Solid understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles
- Experience with month-end close and reconciliations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced or evolving environment with a high degree of ownership
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Experience (Not Required):
- Exposure to inventory or cost accounting
- Experience in high-growth or changing environments
- Involvement with system implementations or process improvements

Compensation: $60/hr. - $70/hr. W2
