We are seeking an experienced Interim Project Manager - Workplace Transformation for our client to lead large-scale, cross-functional initiatives, including corporate office moves, multi-site consolidations, new headquarters openings, and major organizational transitions. The ideal candidate is a hands?on leader who thrives in fast?moving environments and can quickly integrate into an active project.


Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership

  • Develop and manage full project roadmaps, timelines, and milestones.
  • Lead cross-functional planning sessions across multiple departments.
  • Identify, monitor, and mitigate project risks.
  • Coordinate multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Prepare executive-level status reports and presentations.

Budget & Vendor Oversight

  • Manage relocation, facilities, and corporate real estate project budgets.
  • Track capital and operating costs, ensuring adherence to budget.
  • Partner with Procurement on RFP processes.
  • Oversee third?party vendors including movers, furniture providers, and facilities partners.

Change Management

  • Lead communication planning throughout transitions.
  • Support workforce impact assessments during relocations or reorganizations.
  • Ensure smooth transitions for employees and minimal disruption to operations.

Operational Readiness

  • Oversee go-live planning and execution.
  • Ensure new or consolidated spaces are functional, compliant, and ready for occupancy.
  • Coordinate asset disposition, space setup, move logistics, and related activities.

Must?Have Experience

  • 5+ years managing large-scale, complex projects (PMP preferred but not required).
  • Strong exposure to organizational change management.
  • Experience managing capital and operating budgets.
  • Vendor and RFP management experience through Procurement.
  • Executive-level reporting exposure.
  • Enterprise stakeholder engagement across HR, Finance, Facilities, IT, and leadership.
