Job Title: Interim Technology Leader 
Hourly Rate $100hr+ 


Job Summary:
The Interim Technology Leader will play a pivotal role in transforming the Core Financial Services teams from Linear Operations Model to a Product & Services model. This role requires a seasoned technology leader with a strong background in financial services and a proven track record of transitioning IT operations to a product/service-oriented model. The successful candidate will anchor with leaders in each key area of IT operations, ensuring strong accountability and an end-to-end view of processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Strategy:
    • Lead the transformation of the organization from a Linear Operations Model to a Product & Services model.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to define and implement strategic initiatives.
    • Provide technical leadership and direction to IT operations teams.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Ensure seamless transition from traditional IT operations to a product/service-oriented model.
    • Oversee the end-to-end IT operations, including Network, Mainframe, Compute, Storage, Database, and Middleware.
    • Implement best practices for IT service management and operational efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Engage with key stakeholders to understand business needs and align IT services accordingly.
    • Foster strong relationships with internal and external partners to drive collaboration and innovation.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Provide deep technical expertise in one or more areas: Network, Mainframe, Compute, Storage, Database, Middleware.
    • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
  • Communication & Reporting:
    • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Prepare and present reports on IT operations performance and transformation progress.

Qualifications:
  • Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
    • Extensive experience in financial services and IT operations.
    • Proven experience in transitioning from traditional IT operations to a product/service-oriented model.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong technical depth in Network, Mainframe, Compute, Storage, Database, Middleware.
    • Experience with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
  • Leadership & Communication:
    • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
    • Strong, effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to influence and drive change across the organization.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with cloud technologies and digital transformation.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the financial services industry.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
