Overview

We are partnering with a high-growth, innovation-driven organization at the intersection of manufacturing and technology to identify a Palantir Architect. This individual will play a critical role in designing and scaling enterprise data platforms, with a strong emphasis on Palantir Foundry and ontology-driven architecture.

This is a highly visible role, working directly with executive stakeholders, data engineering teams, and business leaders to transform complex operational and industrial data into actionable insights and scalable digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and lead the design of end-to-end Palantir Foundry implementations, including data integration, pipeline orchestration, and application layer development.
  • Define and implement enterprise ontology frameworks, translating business processes into structured, reusable data models that drive decision-making.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to map manufacturing, supply chain, and operational processes into scalable ontology-based systems.
  • Design and optimize data pipelines, ensuring efficient ingestion, transformation, and harmonization of structured and unstructured data sources.
  • Develop and guide implementation of Foundry applications, including operational dashboards, workflow automation, and real-time analytics tools.
  • Establish best practices for data governance, lineage, and security within the Palantir ecosystem.
  • Mentor and guide data engineers, developers, and analysts on Palantir platform capabilities, ontology design, and scalable architecture patterns.
  • Drive adoption of data-driven decision-making across engineering, operations, and leadership teams.
  • Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate advanced analytics and model outputs into ontology-driven workflows.

Required Experience

  • Proven experience architecting solutions on Palantir Foundry in enterprise environments.
  • Deep expertise in ontology design and implementation, including mapping real-world business entities and relationships into scalable data models.
  • Strong background in data architecture, including ETL/ELT pipelines, distributed systems, and data modeling.
  • Experience working with complex industrial or manufacturing data environments (e.g., IoT, supply chain, production systems).
  • Proficiency in core technologies such as:
    • SQL and distributed data systems
    • Python or similar for data engineering workflows
    • APIs and data integration frameworks
  • Experience integrating third-party systems, ERP platforms, and operational data sources into centralized data platforms.
