We have partnered with our client in their search for an Interim Junior Contracts Attorney. This role can be remote.

A leading public relations and business advisory firm is seeking a Junior Contracts Attorney to support the drafting, review, negotiation, and management of commercial agreements. This role will partner closely with business leaders and client service teams to manage legal risk while supporting business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including client services agreements, master services agreements, statements of work, NDAs, vendor contracts, consulting agreements, and partnership agreements.
  • Advise internal stakeholders on contractual risks and business terms.
  • Support contract lifecycle management, including renewals and compliance obligations.
  • Maintain contract templates and legal playbooks.
  • Conduct legal research on commercial, marketing, privacy, and intellectual property matters.

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
  • 2-3 years of experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
  • Strong analytical, writing, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience with professional services, consulting, communications, or agency businesses is preferred.
