Reason for Opening & Position Overview

Our client is experiencing rapid and sustained growth, currently scaling at approximately 200% annually, with projections to continue at 100% year-over-year for the next five years. Historically operating as a small, flat organization, the business has reached a critical inflection point requiring significant investment in leadership talent.

This interim Head of Talent Acquisition will serve as a critical bridge leader, responsible for building and stabilizing the recruiting function while permanent executive searches are underway. The immediate priority is scaling hiring for Financial Planners and Client Advisors, while establishing a strong, repeatable talent acquisition foundation.

Position Overview

This is a hands-on, strategic, and build-oriented interim leadership role responsible for designing, implementing, and owning the firm's end-to-end talent acquisition function in a high-growth environment. This leader will create structure where little currently exists, implement best practices, and drive immediate hiring outcomes.

  • Implement documented best practices, SOPs, and scalable recruiting frameworks
  • Develop workforce planning strategies aligned to aggressive growth goals

Execution & Delivery

  • Partner closely with leadership on hiring priorities and execution

Tools & Infrastructure

  • Evaluate and optimize existing recruiting tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.)
  • Identify gaps and implement additional tools or technologies as needed
  • Establish reporting, metrics, and dashboards to track hiring performance

Stakeholder Management

  • Partner closely with executive leadership on talent strategy
  • Coordinate with external search partners on executive hiring
  • Provide market insights and advisory support around talent trends and competitiveness

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Experience building or scaling a Talent Acquisition function from scratch or within high-growth environments

  • Demonstrated success implementing TA best practices, processes, and playbooks
  • Strong leadership experience, including managing and mentoring recruiting/HR teams
  • Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience running structured team meetings and driving execution

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Direct experience hiring for a financial planning or wealth management firm
