Interim HCP Marketing Manager (Pharmaceuticals)

Position Overview

Our client, a leading organization within the biopharmaceutical industry, is seeking an experienced Interim HCP Marketing Manager to support a high-profile brand during a critical growth period. This consultant will play a key role in executing healthcare professional (HCP) marketing initiatives, supporting ongoing brand performance, and helping prepare for the expansion of additional product indications.

This is a highly hands-on role that requires an experienced pharmaceutical marketer who can quickly assess priorities, take ownership of key deliverables, and drive execution with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute HCP-focused marketing initiatives aligned with brand objectives.
  • Develop and refine HCP messaging, promotional materials, and campaign assets.
  • Manage marketing programs from concept through execution and deployment.
  • Lead promotional materials through Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) review processes.
  • Support launch readiness activities for new indications, label expansions, or product enhancements.
  • Partner cross-functionally with medical, regulatory, commercial, sales, and field teams.
  • Ensure marketing materials remain compliant while effectively communicating brand value.
  • Monitor project timelines and ensure key deliverables are completed on schedule.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology marketing experience.
  • Strong experience marketing products to healthcare professionals (HCPs).
  • Proven success managing promotional materials through MLR review and approval processes.
  • Experience developing HCP messaging, promotional campaigns, and branded marketing materials.
  • Ability to operate independently with limited direction and quickly add value.
  • Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Hands-on execution mindset with a willingness to roll up sleeves and drive deliverables.
