We have partnered with our client in their search for an Interim General Counsel local in Los Angeles, CA area.
Responsibilities and Required Skills:
- Multi site clinical offices in the US is being sold to a private equity strategic buyer.
- An Interim GC is needed to help guide the company through the acquisition.
- The GC will manage outside counsel and support all of the company's legal functions while guiding it through the acquisition by private equity.
- Manage outside counsel, close the acquisition, assist with transition to new ownership
- Experience in Healthcare and Private Equity required
- Legal leader from a law firm or executive in-house practice with experience in private equity purchase and sale in the healthcare industry oreferred
- Proven experience managing outside counsel in M&A
Education & Professional Background:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) required
- 10+ years of legal experience, with a strong focus on M&A and complex corporate transactions
