Interim Financial Controls Consultant - Hospitality & Nightlife

This interim role serves as a subject matter expert focused on strengthening internal controls across complimentary policies, liquor sponsorships, and high-volume nightlife inventory. The consultant will evaluate current processes, identify control gaps, and design best-practice solutions that protect revenue and reduce risk in a fast-paced, regulated hospitality environment. The engagement also includes documenting a clear implementation roadmap and supporting knowledge transfer to a newly created permanent role. This position is onsite in Las Vegas and requires flexibility to support night and weekend operations.

Requirements

  • Experience in hospitality, nightlife, food & beverage, or gaming environments
  • Proven ability to design, implement, and enforce internal controls across complex, integrated systems
  • Hands-on experience managing and reconciling complimentaries
  • Experience with high-volume, high-value inventory (e.g., liquor)
  • Strong process documentation and control design skills
  • Ability to work onsite, including nights and weekends
  • Experience operating in a regulated environment and partnering with finance and operations leaders
  • Nevada Gaming Control Board license/registration (active or ability to obtain quickly)
  • Valid Food/Health Handler certification
  • Valid Alcohol Awareness card


Nice to Haves

  • Familiarity with POS, property management, inventory/warehouse, and ERP system integrations
  • Interim, consulting, or SME experience setting up new functions or roles
  • Background supporting large-scale nightlife or entertainment operations
