We are seeking experienced Interim Director of Procurement Transformation to provide hands‑on leadership during a period of operational and strategic change. The interim leaders will serve as stewards of the organization's procurement operating routines, program management infrastructure, and performance analytics, ensuring continuity, discipline, and momentum across active initiatives.

Working closely with senior leadership, Interim Directors will own the day‑to‑day execution cadence of the procurement function, stabilizing operations while advancing transformation priorities. With responsibility for a small team, this role focuses on embedding standardized ways of working, maintaining visibility into initiative progress, and enabling data‑driven decision‑making throughout the interim period.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage procurement operating routines, including weekly execution reviews, monthly business updates, and quarterly performance cadences to maintain accountability and forward progress.
  • Act as the interim process owner and administrator for the procurement project management platform, ensuring initiative tracking, milestone management, and cross‑functional alignment.
  • Lead and mature procurement analytics and reporting during the engagement, delivering dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics that support leadership decisions.
  • Partner with functional leaders and finance to validate data accuracy and alignment with planning and performance reporting needs.
  • Implement and reinforce standardized processes for initiative intake, prioritization, resource allocation, and progress reporting.
  • Drive adoption of existing and new digital procurement tools, improving operational efficiency and insight quality.
  • Prepare executive‑level materials that clearly communicate performance, pipeline health, risks, and value realization.
  • Identify and address process gaps or inefficiencies, introducing pragmatic improvements appropriate for an interim mandate.
  • Support change management efforts associated with new routines, tools, and reporting expectations.
  • Lead and develop a small team, providing clear direction, prioritization, and coaching during the transition period.
  • Ensure a smooth handoff of processes, documentation, and insights to permanent leadership at the conclusion of the engagement.
