We have partnered with our client in their search for a Remote Interim Compliance Counsel.
Responsibilities
- Advise on U.S. export controls, trade controls and sanctions matters.
- Support compliance with EAR, ITAR and OFAC-administered sanctions requirements.
- Provide practical, business-focused guidance on international trade and anti-bribery compliance.
- Support sanctions licensing, compliance and related enforcement matters.
Skills Required
- Strong U.S. export controls and international trade compliance experience.
- Experience with EAR, ITAR and OFAC sanctions.
- Anti-bribery compliance experience.
- Strong business judgment and ability to provide practical advice to business stakeholders.
Education & Work Experience
- J.D. and relevant bar admission.
- Significant legal experience in export controls, sanctions and trade compliance, ideally within an in-house environment.
