We're seeking a dynamic Interim CMO to lead marketing strategy, demand generation, and growth acceleration for a scaled software organization. This leader will drive pipeline performance, sharpen positioning, and modernize the marketing engine while partnering closely across Sales, Product, and the broader executive team.


What You'll Lead

  • Growth & GTM Strategy: Shape and execute an integrated marketing strategy aligned to revenue goals. Strengthen GTM alignment across Sales, Product, and Customer Success.
  • Demand Generation Engine: Build a predictable, scalable pipeline machine - modern ABM, digital programs, lifecycle marketing, and strong attribution discipline.
  • Marketing Performance & Ops: Optimize tech stack, data, analytics, and processes to improve efficiency, transparency, and ROI.
  • Brand & Messaging: Elevate value proposition, product positioning, and segment-level messaging to differentiate and accelerate market traction.
  • Team Leadership: Guide and up-level the marketing organization; identify gaps, coach talent, and structure the team for long-term success.

Must-Have Experience

  • Proven Interim or Fractional CMO leadership.
  • Deep experience in SaaS / software growth environments.
  • Expertise building and scaling demand generation in organizations at $300M-$500M revenue scale.
  • Strong command of data-driven marketing, pipeline forecasting, and performance measurement.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Background in Private Equity-backed operating models.
  • Experience with M&A integration or portfolio expansion.
  • Transformational leadership in scaling or restructuring environments.
