Job Title: Interim Chief Information Officer (CIO)

  • Senior Vice President of Security (CSO)
Job Description:
We are in search of a dynamic and experienced Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead our Information Technology division. This role is integral to our ongoing transformation, following a series of acquisitions, and aims to establish a robust IT infrastructure to support our global operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide visionary leadership in aligning IT strategies with the overall business objectives. Collaborate closely with executive leadership to drive technological innovation and efficiency.
  • Team Management: Oversee a team of 200 IT professionals, including approximately 40 outsourced resources. Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability within the IT department.
  • Technology Integration: Drive the integration of various IT systems resulting from recent acquisitions, ensuring a cohesive and efficient IT environment.
  • Direct Reports: Manage and mentor three Senior Vice Presidents responsible for Architecture, Data Foundation, and Security.
  • Project Management: Lead and oversee four major IT projects, including a Finance System overhaul (Oracle), ServiceNow implementation, Sales Force revamp, and Data Foundation improvements.
  • Risk Management: Implement risk prevention measures to ensure the security and stability of IT systems, protecting the company from potential vulnerabilities.
  • Global Operations: Manage IT operations that are country-agnostic, supporting our global business footprint.
  • Interim Role: Initially, this role will serve as an interim CIO as we conduct a search for a permanent CIO. The interim candidate may have the opportunity to convert to a permanent role if it aligns with both parties' interests.
  • Telecommunications Experience: While not required, telecommunications industry experience would be advantageous.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role, overseeing large teams and managing complex IT initiatives.
  • Strong background in core systems overhaul and implementation, particularly with systems like Oracle and ServiceNow.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to travel to Denver periodically to meet with leadership and the IT team.
Projects:
There are 4 major projects that are also in the responsibility:
  1. Finance System overhaul (Oracle)
  2. ServiceNow implementation
  3. Major revamp of Salesforce for the front-end team
  4. Data Foundation – exploration to improve
