We have partnered with our client in their search for a Interim Chief Commercial Officer.
The Opportunity
A specialty diagnostic laboratory in Florida is seeking an Interim Chief Commercial Officer to transform its commercial function during a period of rapid growth.
The business holds roughly 5% market share with significant room to expand - but the systems, processes, and org design that got it here won't support the next stage of scale. This engagement reports directly to the CEO and carries executive visibility without direct reports.
What You'll Own
- Commercial organization assessment - evaluate a structure that's currently too concentrated to scale, and deliver actionable redesign recommendations
- KPI dashboard and forecasting - build real-time visibility into pipeline, conversion, retention, and rep-level performance, plus a repeatable forecast process
- Systems and scalability - tune the commercial operating system to absorb higher volume; fix the constraints that break first under growth
- Commission structure - partner with the VP of Commercial and Director of Sales to align incentives with growth and retention
- Customer retention - diagnose elevated churn and implement structural fixes
Must Haves
- CCO, CRO, SVP Commercial, or equivalent at a $300M+ revenue organization - industry open, scale is not
- Track record helping commercial organizations materially grow (doubling in size is the benchmark)
- Led commercial transformation programs and bring proven best practices
- Hands-on data and analytics capability - you build the dashboard, not just scope it
- Salesforce helpful
