Interim Chief Financial Officer
We have partnered with our client in their search for an Interim Remote Chief Financial Officer.
Position Summary
Our client is a physician-led healthcare services organization seeking a seasoned Interim CFO to provide financial leadership during a CFO transition. Reporting to the CEO, the consultant will maintain continuity across finance, accounting, reporting, revenue cycle, and capital structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the annual budgeting process from kickoff through completion.
- Manage relationships with bondholders and other lenders, including leading calls and coordinating communications and information requests.
- Oversee finance and accounting operations, reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Provide leadership across revenue cycle, cash flow, treasury, and financial controls.
- Partner with the CEO, physician leaders, and senior executives on financial and operational priorities.
- Work closely with the controller and finance team to maintain stability.
- Support an effective transition to the permanent CFO.
Required Qualifications
- Prior CFO or senior financial executive experience in healthcare.
- Experience leading finance for a complex, multi-site organization.
- Experience supporting an organization with approximately $1 billion or more in annual revenue or comparable enterprise complexity.
- Prior Interim CFO, transition CFO, or executive consulting experience.
- Strong budgeting, accounting, reporting, forecasting, and revenue-cycle expertise.
- Experience working with bondholders, lenders, debt arrangements, and capital-structure matters.
- Strong communication skills with physician stakeholders, executives, and financial partners.
- Ability to assess priorities quickly and provide hands-on leadership.
