We are seeking an Interim CFO to drive global financial strategy, reporting, and operations across an international footprint. This role requires strong forecasting, stakeholder communication, and team leadership skills within a private equity-backed environment.
Responsibilities
Own and deliver a weekly 13-week cash flow forecast, submitted every Friday.
Prepare and present Board-level financial materials to both lenders and the private equity sponsor.
Collaborate closely with the CEO to develop and execute turnaround and financial strategies.
Oversee a global finance team of 25+ professionals across 14 international sites, with ongoing coordination with teams overseas.
Lead improvements in internal controls and support audit activities (with limited day-to-day involvement).
Conduct regular group meetings with global finance leads to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Provide guidance on financial matters under both IFRS and US GAAP standards.
Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP platforms is preferred.
Skills Required
Proven experience working with distressed assets and improving underperforming finance organizations.
Demonstrated expertise in cash management, accounts receivable remediation, and 13-week cash flow forecasting.
Experience within private equity-backed environments, including board-level reporting and high-stakes stakeholder communication.
Industry background in maritime, service-based, MRO (maintenance, repair, and operations), or similarly complex, operationally intensive sectors.
Education & Work Experience
Advanced degree strongly preferred: MBA, Master’s in Finance, or an active CPA license.
