We have partnered with our client in their search for an Infrastructure Engineer in Columbus, OH.
Responsibilities
The selected candidate be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing advanced SD-WAN and SSE solutions to ensure secure and efficient network access for our clients. This role requires a deep understanding of SD-WAN and SSE solutions, network security, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in network engineering and security, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Design, deploy, and manage advanced SD-WAN and SSE solutions to meet client requirements and business objectives.
• Conduct network and security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their networking and security needs and develop customized SD-WAN and SSE solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and security issues related to SD-WAN and SSE deployments.
• Monitor network and security performance and implement proactive measures to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SD-WAN and SSE technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for SD-WAN and SSE configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Participate in on-call support rotation and respond to network and security emergencies as needed.

Additional Skills: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering and security, with a focus on SD-WAN and SSE technologies.
• Strong knowledge of SD-WAN solutions from leading vendors (e.g., Cisco Viptela, VMware VeloCloud, Fortinet, Versa Networks). Versa experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in SSE solutions from leading vendors (e.g., Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Zscaler, etc.).
• Proficiency in network protocols, routing, and security technologies (e.g., VPN, firewalls, IDS/IPS, etc.).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud security best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CISSP, SD-WAN Specialist, SSE Specialist) are a plus.
