In-House Counsel, Irving, TX
Multi-billion dollar, international manufacturing company is seeking to hire a high energy, visionary attorney and leader with significant experience in government contract law and compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- JD from a top law school and stellar academic record;
- License to practice in TX preferred, but not required
- Practiced law at a high level for 3 to 7 years’ within a law firm and/or corporation. “In-house” experience highly preferred;
- Possess a confident and pragmatic approach to providing legal and business advice to executives and leaders of all levels;
- Innovative and solutions oriented;
- Ability to communicate with professionals of all levels in order to build strong internal and external relationships;
- Deep experience in US Government contracting and compliance;
- Strong negotiating skills with the ability to identify risk and resolve issues effectively in line with the business;
- Proven ability to provide clear, practical guidance to a variety of business leaders and executives;
- Proven ability to communicate at all levels across a multi-national organization;
- Self-starter with a flexible but confident approach willing to “roll sleeves up” and work with strong personalities;
- Ability to accommodate necessary domestic and international travel up to 20% of the time.
