Fast Growing Healthcare company seeking to hire an experienced corporate paralegal to join their legal team.
Temp-to-hire is preferred, however will consider direct-hire applicants.
Position reports to the General Counsel and COO. Exciting opportunity to join at the ground level as the legal department's first paralegal hire.
Duties:
Support in house counsel with transactions for various medical facilities.
Support general corporate legal functions including: entity management, credit applications, corporate charters, org charts, offshore/ onshore, corporate bylaws, obtaining certificate of formation and certificate of good standing.
Support healthcare compliance including HIPAA and credential compliance
Position requires:
B.A. Degree in any discipline
Paralegal Certificate a plus
4+ years of experience as a corporate paralegal, including private equity transactions experience
Very meticulous and organized
Excellent oral and written communication skills
