We have partnered with our client in their search for a Hybrid Salesforce Specialist (Scrum Master/Business Analyst/QA).
The Hybrid Salesforce Specialist will be a key contributor to our Salesforce initiatives, leveraging a unique blend of skills across Scrum Master, Business Analyst, and Quality Assurance disciplines. This individual will be instrumental in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, driving efficient development cycles, and ensuring the robust functionality of our Salesforce ecosystem. A strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities and experience with Agile methodologies are essential.
Responsibilities:
As a Scrum Master:
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coach and mentor the Salesforce development team on Agile principles and practices.
- Remove impediments to the team's progress and ensure a smooth development workflow.
- Foster a collaborative and self-organizing team environment.
- Track and report on team velocity and other key Agile metrics.
As a Business Analyst:
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from various stakeholders, translating them into clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine Salesforce solutions that align with business objectives.
- Create process flows, wireframes, and other documentation to illustrate proposed solutions.
- Conduct gap analysis between current and future state Salesforce processes.
- Act as a liaison between business users and the technical development team.
As a Quality Assurance Specialist:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce configurations and custom development.
- Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure the quality and accuracy of Salesforce solutions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices.
General Responsibilities:
- Manage and prioritize Salesforce backlogs effectively in JIRA, ensuring clear visibility and alignment with business goals.
- Work closely with product owners, developers, and other team members to ensure successful project delivery.
- Contribute to the overall Salesforce strategy and roadmap.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce features, releases, and best practices.
- Participate in Salesforce configuration and administration tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience
working with Salesforce in a professional capacity.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master, with strong facilitation and coaching skills.
- Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst, including requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management.
- Solid experience in Quality Assurance, including test planning, execution, and defect management.
- Expert-level proficiency in JIRA for backlog management, sprint tracking, and issue management.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, hybrid environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Developer certification(s).
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or other Salesforce products.
- Experience with automation testing tools for Salesforce.
- Prior experience in a consulting or client-facing role.
