Role Overview: Lucas Group has partnered with a growing distribution company on their search for an HR Manager located in Duluth, GA. This is a true generalist role and an excellent opportunity for the right individual. This individual will serve as a true strategic business partner and be responsible for a variety of HR activities from compensation to benefits to performance management and much more. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Responsibilities:

• Provide effective advice and guidance on issues surrounding daily human resources activities
• Serve as SME on employee relations, functioning as a point of contact on day to day compensation, benefits, performance management, legal, and compliance issues
• Provide Human Resources expertise to support the achievement of site and business goals, and champion organizational change
• Identify, create, and foster opportunities to create a positive, dynamic culture where employees have an opportunity to contribute and grow professionally
• Partner with client groups on local and facility initiatives including culture, communication and continuous improvement
• Create and oversee team’s workflow and performance metrics

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred, Human Resources or Business Administration
• At least 3+ years of HR work experience with emphasis in generalist responsibilities, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• PHR/SPHR certification is a plus
