Job Description: 

Lucas Group has partnered with a private educational professional services provider in the Chicago area on their search for a Human Resources Manager. This is a newly created role reporting to the VP of HR. Our client is seeking an HR Generalist who has 8-10 years of Human Resources experience and proven track-record of being a self-starter. The role will handle employee relations, conflict resolution, benefit administration, payroll and other duties as necessary. The right cultural fit is very important as this client prides itself on a strong, close-knit company culture and working environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Employee Relations
  • Training
  • LOA
  • Benefits/Compensation
  • Payroll
  • On-Boarding, Off-Boarding
  • Screening and Sourcing for new roles

Requirements:

  • BA degree
  • 8-10 years’ experience in HR
  • Expert in Employee Relations and Conflict Resolution
  • Payroll experience a plus
  • Experience in a school or university is a plus
