Role Overview: Lucas Group is hiring a Human Resources Generalist for our client’s corporate office located in the Woodlands, TX area.
Responsibilities:
- Annual review of the benefits proposal for all locations
- Administers international and US health and welfare plans including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Assist employees with benefits issues including open enrollment
- Coordinates the processing of monthly international payroll for Argentina, Bangladesh, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Singapore. Direct liaison with international payroll provider for all employee matters.
- Maintains employee files for all locations
- Processing all leave of absence requests, disability paperwork: medical, personal, disability, FMLA.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years related experience in an oil and gas corporation.
- Bachelor’s degree or SHRM Certification
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multi task
- Ability to adhere to deadlines
- Excellent customer service skills
- The desire to make a meaningful difference. Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Authentic leader: direct communicator, able to build strong relationships across the company, with all levels.
- Must have great collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work closely with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Advanced knowledge of HR plans, programs and procedures related to compensation, benefits, staffing, workforce relations and training, etc. that enables interpretation and application of organization policies.
- Advanced PC skills including word excel etc.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of federal state and other regulatory standards related to various HR disciplines.
- Demonstrated ability to provide assistance with mentoring and/or evaluation of lower level staff.
