Job Title: HSE Analyst
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Analyst to support incident review and safety improvement initiatives. This role is primarily office-based, with occasional travel to Canada (2–3 times per year for training and support.
The HSE Analyst will be responsible for reviewing incident documentation, conducting root cause analyses, and developing actionable insights to enhance safety performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and clean up incident documentation and data.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using methodologies such as:
- Apollo Method
- TapRooT
- 5-Whys
- Develop Lessons Learned and Safety Bulletins based on incident findings.
- Analyze safety data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and thorough incident reviews.
- Support compliance with pipeline safety regulations and standards.
- Provide insights to improve operational safety.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Proven experience in developing Lessons Learned and conducting Root Cause Analysis.
- Strong understanding of pipeline safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to interpret technical data and identify safety trends.
- Experience with incident investigation and documentation.
- Familiarity with Maximo (asset management software) is a plus.
Work Environment:
- 90% office-based work.
- Occasional travel to Canada for training/support (2–3 times/year, TBD).
