Lucas Group is partnering with a growing manufacturing company located in the NW Houston in their search for a Human Resources Specialist.  This position offers a full benefits package along with bonus potential.  

Pay: $50,000 - $60,000

Responsibilities:
  • Generate regular, standard and ad hoc reports specific to HR (hiring and turnover, exit data, disability, job modification trends, staffing speed to hire, quality of hire, etc).
  • Assist in monitoring and analysis of the US DOL Federal Contracting Requirements
  • Unemployment compensation claim coordination
  • Troubleshoot data and reports
  • Assist with the planning, implementation, communication, and rollout of employee relations programs
  • Support compliance, recruiting, and employee relations by maintaining records/data
  • Conduct and serve as the New Employee Orientation Coordinator/Specialist
  • Serve as a Recruiter to several groups within the organization:
    • Consult with management and HR to identify staffing needs and workforce planning strategies and develop a recruiting plan to meet demands
    • Leverage various resources to source qualified candidates
    • Develop position descriptions
    • Screen candidates via resume screening, telephone screens, interviews, assessment tools, etc.
    • Coordinate interview process
    • Manage entry level rotation programs and co-op/internship programs
    • Conduct reference checks
    • Manage relocation program in cost-effective manner
    • Manage and administer the ATS
    • Coordinate and facilitate recruitment functions including job and career fairs, college recruiting
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3+ years of related HR experience
  • ADP Recruiting Management experience is preferred
  • Ev5 system experience preferred, not required
