Lucas Group has partnered with a high-growth real estate start-up organization on their search for a HR Specialist located in Los Angeles, CA. This is a true Generalist role and excellent opportunity for the right individual to make an impact on this quickly growing organization! The HR Specialist will assist in the implementation of the company’s HR strategy with an emphasis on talent attraction and development.  Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Assist with hands-on recruitment process, help develop job descriptions and salary ranges
• Facilitate new hire orientation & on-boarding and process relevant paperwork including prescreening, background checks, new hire paperwork, etc.
• Create and maintain integrity of employee personnel files, retrieve and file documents
• Ability to develop and carry out manager and employee training programs
• Work with managers to develop documentation for employee performance improvements
• Knowledge about applicable local, state, federal employment laws
• Additional projects as necessary

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience in a high-growth start-up environment or real estate business preferred
• Strong knowledge of Labor laws and compliance requirements
• 3-5+ years of HR Generalist experience
• Strong recruitment background
• Chinese speaker is preferred
