Role Overview:
Lucas Group has partnered with a leading manufacturing company on their search for a High-potential HR Manager for one of their major manufacturing facilities, located in the Battle Creek, MI, area. The HR Manager will lead a team responsible for providing day to day HR support, guidance and advice on company policies and procedures for for over 700 employees at this manufacturing site. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Serve as HR subject matter expert as part of the site leadership team
- Lead execution of performance management process to include succession planning, talent development, and career mapping
- Identify any program gaps related to retention and engagement
- Coach and develop the HR team to act as true business partners to their client groups across the site
- Engage in action planning and execution facilitation with client groups
- Perform as liaison between the corporate COEs and the Regional leadership team on all aspects of HR to the local site
- Additional projects as necessary
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 or more years of progressive HR generalist experience within a manufacturing environment, a minimum of 2 years in leadership
- Successful experience supporting 500+ employee population
- Excellent problem solving, gap analysis, and business partnering skills
