Title: Human Resources Manager

Lucas Group has partnered with a well known and stable manufacturing company in their search for an HR Manager. This role will oversee all human resource functions of a manufacturing facility and administer facility Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs. Provides strategic direction and change management support to empower and solve business needs in the areas of talent, culture, and operational excellence. Looking for someone with high energy that can wear many hats and be a strategic thinker and isn't opposed to performing tactical work when needed.

Responsibilities

• Single site HR Manager with no direct reports
• Provides guidance on workforce planning which may include organizational re-design work, facilitation of a Talent Review/Selection process, job description creation and analysis, promotions, etc.
• Foster change leadership.
• Plan, develop, deliver, and coordinate effective EHS training to all facility employees, temporary workers, contractors, and visitors to promote a strong EHS culture.
• Successfully achieve milestone targets for HR roadmap
• Able to oversee all HR initiatives, policies and procedures as an individual producer.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or related field
• 3-5 years of Human Resource experience; experience leading and developing professionals; PHR desired
• Previous experience with managing EHS programs
• Previous project management skills required
• CI training or similar business process improvement training
• PHR certification preferred
