Title: HR & Labor Relations Manager

Reports to: Plant Manager
Role Overview: Lucas Group has partnered with a leading industrial company on their search for an HR & Labor Relations Manager. This HR & Labor Relations Manager will serve as a true generalist who will provide day-to-day advice and assistance on all HR functions with a heavy emphasis on labor relations. This strategic thinking individual will serve as an individual contributor and support one union facility in day to day operations. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Supervise all matters involving represented employee job performance and lead incident negotiations
• Arrange, facilitate and conduct labor, management and grievance meetings
• Make recommendations and assists in the negotiation of mid-term collective bargaining contracts
• Act as liaison between management and union employees on all aspects of HR
• Assist with recruitment efforts, as needed
• Collaborate with HR colleagues globally.
• Conduct training for staff, as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• At least 10+year’s Labor Relations/ Employee Relations experience
• At least 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
• HR Certification (PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP)
• Union relations experience a must
