HR Generalist (Closed)

Description:

Lucas Group has partnered with a leading manufacturing company on their search for an HR Generalist located in Denver, CO. The HR Generalist will provide HR expertise and support on a variety of day-to-day HR functions from Recruitment to Employee Relations to Labor Relations and much more to 1800 employees. This individual will report into the HR Business Partner also collaborate closely with key leadership to create and implement HR strategies.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or related field and/or equivalent combination of education

Experience Requirements:

• 4+ years HR experience (ideally with an hourly workforce)
• Strong computer skills (experience with HR systems – e.g. SAP, Success Factors, Oracle). Highly proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Expertise around report writing and related analytics
• Familiarity with employment law with strong legal compliance knowledge
• Ability to work autonomously

Responsibilities:

• Conducts the talent acquisition efforts
• Provides leadership to an assigned client group on all performance management activities
• Assist with Employee Relations inquires and investigations
• Delivers various human resource practices and programs
• Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals
• Participates in HR projects and implements HR programs and processes as needed
• Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment
