Our client, a rapidly growing FinTech / Financial Services company in the payments and transfers space, is seeking an HR Generalist to support core HR operations and employee experience across the organization. This is an onsite role (with hybrid flexibility in NYC) supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, HR administration, benefits, compliance, and performance management.
This position is ideal for a HR Professionals who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys being hands-on, and can balance day-to-day HR needs with proactive support for employees and managers.
* Support full-cycle recruitment and onboarding
* Handle day-to-day employee relations and HR inquiries
* Maintain HRIS accuracy, employee documentation, and reporting
* Assist with compensation & benefits processes
* Ensure compliance with labor laws, policies, and HR standards
* Support performance review cycles and training coordination
* Assist with employee engagement and culture initiatives
* Manage offboarding and exit processes
* 5-7 years of HR experience
* Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
* Experience with HRIS systems and data management
* Knowledge of labor laws, compliance, and HR best practices
* Ability to work onsite and adapt in a dynamic FinTech environment
