Job Description:

The HR Generalist will support our client's new warehouse division. HR Generalist will be responsible for employee relations and investigations.  There are approximately 3-4 investigations a month that may include travel.  HR Generalist will also work with the HR team to execute policies, procedures, and processes to ensure consistency.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage employee relations work across multiple business groups to assist employees and managers in resolving issues and grievances. Consult with and provide recommendations to HR Business Partners, managers, and employees about company policies and procedures and the need for compliance.
  • Coordinates employee relations programs to ensure compliance with policies and practices. Work with the business on highlighting key trends in employee relations and actively driving training, systems and process improvement.
  • Prepare investigative documentation, including interview notes and summary of findings.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance to line management--coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions.
  • Prepares reports and conducts basic analysis for review by HR management.
  • Actively support our client's workplace safety policy

Requirements:
  • 3 or more years of HR Generalist experience or HR Coordinator.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Human Resources related field preferred.
  • Functional knowledge of Federal and State employment laws and statutes.
  • Functional expertise in employee relations and internal communications management.
  • HR certification (e.g. PHR, HRCI, HRBP) a plus.
