Title: HR Director

Location: Orange, CA

Role Overview:  Lucas Group has partnered with a leading metal forge manufacturing company on their search for an HR Director located in Orange, CA. The HR Director will serve as an HR expert and provide advice, guidance and support on a variety of HR issues. This strategic thinking individual will partner closely with the CEO and other key leaders to design and implement human resource policies, procedures and initiatives across the organization. Additional responsibilities include. Candidates should have experience in the following:

• Spanish speaking required.
• CA wage and hourly compliance required.
• Union avoidance is a plus (union drive was defeated last year)
• Experience with automated time system and implementation
• Cultural change leadership
• Employee relations
• Worker's Compensation
• Benefits administration
• LOA program management
• Recruiting for all levels
• Bachelor's degree or heavy experience in similar organization/environment required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or heavy experience in similar organizations / environments
• Prior experience as lead HR individual for a business or business unit
• Manufacturing background is preferred
