Role Overview:  Lucas Group is partnered with a leading manufacturing organization in Mason, Ohio for their HR Director search. The ideal candidate will have a full scope HR Generalist background with the proven ability to build an HR function alongside executive leadership.

The ideal candidate must have significant experience within all facets of HR including training/employee development, succession planning, compensation, talent management, and a heavy emphasis on recruiting to build out the team which would include on-campus/co-ops/career fairs. This is a strategic role, but will require the person to roll their sleeves up and get involved with leaders and employees on a daily basis. The HR Director must show success in the following areas:

• Talent acquisition – this person will outline the TA function and put a process around it
• Building positive relationships and trust
• Training and employee/leadership development
• Employee relations and employee engagement
• Performance management
• Succession/workforce planning

Requirements:

• Strong business partner acumen and ability to develop relationships/influence leadership
• 7 years of HR experience and must have partnered with leadership and be able to demonstrate credibility
• Results oriented – they have to be able to back up how they identified a gap and how they resolved
• Must be able to jump in and be a doer
• Someone coming from manufacturing or construction is preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree is a REQUIRED
