Assist with all day to day HR responsibilities to include I-9 verification, filing, data entry, training materials, onboarding/ new hire orientation, and employees questions/concerns.
Responsibilities
- Partners with employees and management to communicate various Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations.
- Participates in responding to all Government audits or charges (DOL, EEO, FMLA, ADA).
- Design and conduct new employee orientations.
- Administrates and maintenance of recordkeeping to ensure proper handling and compliance with laws and regulations, and according to company processes and procedures.
- Support on the reviews and preparation of termination, resignation, lay off and employment offers.
- Oversees company Drug/Alcohol Testing Compliance for Pre-employment, Random, Post Accident and Reasonable Suspicion.
- Recruits, interviews, checks references, and make offers for new employees.
- Coordinate with staffing companies the employee’s rollover process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Bi-lingual Spanish required
- minimum 1-3 years in Human Resources
- Manufacturing or Distribution experience preferred
