HR Business Partner (Closed)

Title:  HR Business Partner

Location:  El Segundo, CA

Lucas Group has partnered with a government contractor on their search for a strategic HR Business Partner.  Will support a group of about 200 + people in engineering and technology and will be responsible for designing and delivering strategies and programs to help performance and achieve business objectives.   The role reports to a Director with a dotted line to the client group and will have a support staff reporting to them. 

Will assess the business and design strategies, leveraging Centers of Excellence.  Must have strong relationship building and be able to partner effectively across the organization.  Will coach, counsel, and identify issues before they impact the business.  Must be analytical and be able to develop people.

Required:

• BA Degree (preference for advanced degrees)
• 10+ years of HR experience with 4 as a Business Partner
• Experience influencing all levels and developing internal network to gain support for HR initiatives
• Strategic orientation, problem solving, analytical skills
• Ability to obtain a US secret security clearance
