Healthcare Data Product Manager (Fractional)
We're partnering with a healthcare data organization seeking a Fractional Healthcare Data Product Manager to provide strategic product leadership across an existing healthcare data product and future product initiatives.
This individual will help evolve an alpha-stage healthcare data solution into a scalable product offering while defining product strategy, roadmap priorities, and go-to-market direction. The role requires a hands-on product leader with experience building and launching healthcare data products, collaborating closely with engineering teams, and translating market needs into differentiated solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide product leadership and strategic direction for an existing healthcare data product and future product offerings
- Define and maintain product roadmaps, priorities, and long-term product vision
- Guide healthcare data products through the full product lifecycle from concept through launch and adoption
- Partner closely with engineering teams to drive product development and execution throughout the SDLC
- Collaborate with commercial, business, and operational stakeholders to gather requirements and align product strategy
- Evaluate market opportunities, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to inform product decisions
- Support go-to-market planning and product positioning initiatives
- Translate business requirements into actionable product features and development priorities
- Mentor and collaborate with internal team members to build product management capabilities and processes
- Communicate product recommendations, roadmap updates, and strategic initiatives to executive leadership
Requirements
- 5+ years of Product Management experience with ownership of software, data, or analytics products
- Demonstrated experience launching, scaling, and managing healthcare data products
- Strong healthcare domain knowledge including physician, payer, provider, clinical, or healthcare analytics data
- Experience creating product roadmaps and managing products throughout the full lifecycle
- Proven ability to work closely with engineering teams to deliver product enhancements and new capabilities
- Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into product solutions
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional communication skills
- Experience driving product strategy in fast-paced or early-stage product environments
Preferred
- Experience with healthcare analytics platforms, healthcare data products, or healthcare SaaS solutions
- Background supporting healthcare organizations, providers, payers, or life sciences companies
- Experience working with Medicare claims data, physician data, or other large healthcare datasets
- Prior experience helping mature early-stage or alpha-stage products into scalable offerings
- Experience supporting product-led growth and go-to-market initiatives for data-driven products
