Head of Test - Digital Transformation & AI Automation (Interim-to-Perm)*

*Interim DRC for 12 months, before transitioning to Perm position.
The Opportunity
Korn Ferry is seeking a senior Head of Test (interim-to-perm) to lead its testing, quality, and automation strategy across the digital transformation programme. This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role with responsibility for shaping culture, building high-performing teams, and embedding AI-driven and automated testing across platforms.
The Head of Test will work closely with Enterprise Architecture, Product, and Delivery leadership, engaging with stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite, to ensure testing and quality are aligned with strategic objectives.
This is an ideal opportunity for a seasoned leader (15+ years' experience) who thrives in complex environments, can drive cultural change, and deliver excellence in quality across multiple squads.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement the enterprise-wide testing strategy, including AI and automation capabilities
- Build, lead, and mentor high-performing QA/testing teams, fostering a culture of quality, collaboration, and innovation
- Partner closely with Enterprise Architecture, Product Owners, and delivery squads to ensure quality is embedded end-to-end
- Oversee testing across multiple squads, including functional, integration, performance, and automated testing
- Establish platform-level standards, frameworks, and tooling to scale automation across programmes
- Act as a visible cultural and leadership presence, driving best practices and accountability across teams
- Engage with senior stakeholders and C-suite to communicate strategy, progress, and risk
- Ensure testing practices support CI/CD pipelines, continuous delivery, and business outcomes
Required Experience & Skills
- 15+ years' experience in QA/Test leadership, ideally in financial services or large-scale digital transformations
- Strong expertise in automated and AI-driven testing, full lifecycle QA, and platform-level testing
- Experience building and shaping teams and driving cultural change in large organisations
- Hands-on experience with modern testing tools and CI/CD integration
- Comfortable working closely with Enterprise Architecture, Product, and Delivery leadership
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, including C-suite
- Gravitas, credibility, and presence to lead across business and technology teams
