Guidewire Business Analyst Data
Contract | £750-£850 per day | Inside IR35

We are looking for an experienced Guidewire Business Analyst to join a major insurance transformation programme, focusing on the data workstream.
You will lead the scoping, requirements gathering and analysis across data migration, integrations, reporting, analytics and data governance. Working closely with business stakeholders, data specialists, architects and technology partners, you will translate complex requirements into clear deliverables that support the successful implementation of Guidewire.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead workshops and discovery sessions to capture business and data requirements.
- Document current-state processes, data flows, business rules and future-state requirements.
- Produce business requirements, user stories, process flows, data mappings and acceptance criteria.
- Support source-to-target mapping, data profiling, data-quality assessment, reconciliation and validation.
- Analyse integrations, interfaces, dependencies and impacts across multiple systems.
- Define reporting, MI, KPI and analytics requirements.
- Support data governance activities, including ownership, quality, lineage and controls.
- Manage requirements through validation, prioritisation, traceability and stakeholder sign-off.
Essential experience:
- Previous Guidewire implementation experience is essential.
- Strong experience of data migration to or from Guidewire platforms.
- Insurance industry experience.
- Experience working on large-scale data or technology transformation programmes.
- Strong understanding of data migration, integration, reporting, analytics and governance.
- Experience producing high-quality BRDs, user stories, data mappings and acceptance criteria.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including working with product owners, underwriters, architects and technical teams.
- Ability to work independently within a fast-paced and complex programme environment.
