Korn Ferry Interim is partnering with a client in The Woodlands area in their search for a Global Trade Compliance Analyst. This is a contract (3-6 months) engagement with the potential to be considered for a full-time role within the organization. This position will be hybrid 3 days in office and 2 days remote.
Responsibilities
Legal drawbacks experience
Conduct research on global trade regulations, trends, and policies to inform the company’s trade strategy.
Analyze and interpret data on trade flows, tariffs, and quotas to identify potential opportunities and risks for the company.
Evaluate compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, working closely with legal.
Monitor changes to global trade policies and regulations and provide updates to key stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop and implement global trade initiatives.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree.
Minimum of three (3) years of Global Trade Regulatory Compliance experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
Knowledge of global trade regulations and policies, including customs procedures, tariff classifications, and trade agreements.
Proficiency with the MS Office package, including SharePoint; SAP experience preferred.
