We are partnering with a Fortune 500 company on a Global Mechanical Integrity Manager opening based out of one of their key locations in Central Illinois. The Mechanical Integrity Manger will be responsible for leading the MI program globally to ensure assets are fit for service and reliable. Additional oversight includes structural integrity, HAZMON, P&ID, and PSV programs. We are looking for a highly polished and professional leader as this role is part of the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) Center of Excellence (CoE) and will work closely with the EHS CoE as well as RCM regional managers.
Global Mechanical Integrity Manager Job Responsibilities
- Develop & lead the global Mechanical Integrity program
- Ensure RAGAGEP, API, ASME, and other applicable codes are integrated within the MI program
- Manage structural integrity, HAZMON, P&ID, and PSV programs
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and asset managers to develop strategy to maintain for specific asset classes
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for MI strategy on capital improvement projects
- Develop strategies and testing procedures for determining equipment replacement needs for PV/I and Kinney analysis
- Create metrics and KPIs for measuring the efficiency of the MI program
- Cross-department interaction with EHS team on PSM standards and incident countermeasures related to MI
- Collaborate with SMEs to develop procedures & certifications required for MI inspections
- Interact with plant maintenance teams and RCM regional managers to develop action plan to correct known deficiencies in MI program or equipment condition
Global Mechanical Integrity Manager Requirements
- B.S. Engineering preferred (Chemical or Mechanical) with 10 + years relevant experience
- Minimum of 15+ years’ experience in MI, reliability, and PSM
- Previous leadership and audit experience in MI management positions in the chemical or petrochemical industry
- Must be able to establish expectations for safety, reliability, quality, service and productivity
- Computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Products and Computerized Maintenance Management Software
- Training in API, ASME, and other industry standards and RAGAGEP
- Training as an API inspector a plus
- Demonstrated experience in planning, implementing, and executing a Mechanical Integrity program
- Experience with material science, corrosion, and fitness for service
- Extensive knowledge of PSM requirements
