We have partnered with our client in their search for a Global Director of Technology Architecture, Integration and Data. Initially, this leadership role requires a hands-on approach to spearhead the company's endeavors in all aspects of application, integration, and reporting architecture. With a clear emphasis on data – from warehousing to definitions – the candidate must possess extensive experience with the Microsoft tech stack, Azure cloud, and other advanced data technologies. Over time, this role will evolve from hands-on technical execution to strategic leadership and guidance. As the foremost technical expert on the team, this position will not only lead current data and integration initiatives but also shape future strategies in automation, RPA, AI, and more
Responsibilities
- Define and implement the strategic direction for application, integration, and reporting architectures, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Oversee data warehousing, data lake, ETL, EDI, and API integration strategies, ensuring efficient, scalable, and secure solutions.
- Establish clear data definitions, ensuring consistency and accuracy across the organization.
- Collaborate with IT and business leaders to ensure data and reporting needs are consistently met and future-proofed.
- Champion the evaluation, recommendation, and implementation of cutting-edge data technologies and tools.
- Mentor and lead the technical team, fostering innovation, best practices, and continued professional growth.
- Play a pivotal role in future tech expansion, including custom development, automation, RPA, and AI.
- Transition from initial hands-on responsibilities to a more strategic leadership role over time.
Skills Required
- Comprehensive expertise in data architecture, data warehousing, and reporting design.
- Proficient in Microsoft tech stack and Azure cloud solutions.
- Strong experience in ETL, EDI, and API Integration leadership.

Education & Work Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's Degree or additional certifications in relevant areas is a strong advantage.
- A minimum of 12 years' experience in technology architecture, integration, and data leadership roles, with significant emphasis on data architecture and integration strategies.
- Demonstrated experience leading high-performing technical teams and managing large-scale technology projects.
