Our client, an international law firm, in San Francisco’s financial district, is in search of an Interim General Ledger Assistant.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed journal entries using information obtained from various departments as a part of the monthly close process.
- Prepares detailed reconciliations for domestic and international bank accounts, including client trust accounts
- Research any accounting issues, resolving outstanding items on bank and GL reconciliations.
- review of expenses in comparison to budget of select international office ledgers; direct involvement with the Director Office Administrator, international office accounting staff, and finance staff to resolve outstanding items on a monthly basis
- Process the daily transmission of checks paid to the bank
- Other projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
- 3+ Years of accounting experience
- Legal or professional services background
