Lucas Group has been retained for an exclusive search to find a General Counsel for our client, a thriving family owned business in Central Illinois. The current General Counsel has advised the company for decades and will stay on as the Deputy General Counsel for as long as necessary to get the GC up to speed. The General Counsel will work very closely with Senior Management on a wide variety of matters including general corporate, IP, litigation, insurance, HR. logistics, manufacturing, admiralty law, energy, etc. Ideal candidates will have 10+ years of legal experience and be willing to roll up their sleeves, pivot quickly from matter to matter and be available to answer questions as needed.
