Fund Accounting / Month-end Close Support

Interim Fund Accountant - Confidential (Private Credit) · New York, NY (Hybrid) · Full-Time Interim

Our client, a leading organization in the private credit and alternative investment industry is seeking an experienced Interim Fund Accountant to own month-end and quarter-end close and keep day-to-day fund accounting operations running, with additional bandwidth for testing and project work.

Key Responsibilities

• Own month-end and quarter-end close across assigned funds
• Maintain day-to-day fund/portfolio accounting operations
• Process and reconcile portfolio/loan activity in WSO; support fund accounting in Geneva
• Ensure accurate data flow and reconciliation between WSO and Geneva
• Support testing, UAT, and project/implementation activities

Qualifications

• Strong, hands-on WSO (Wall Street Office) experience - top priority
• ~4-7 years fund/portfolio accounting (private credit / direct lending ideal)
• Proven ownership of month-end/quarter-end close
• Functional accounting/operations orientation (not a purely technical systems resource)
• Geneva experience (highly preferred)
• Understanding of how information translates between WSO and Geneva
• Private credit / middle market / sponsor-backed lending exposure
