SAP Functional Analysts - S/4HANA Transformation
Location: Remote (EU-based) - preference for Spain or Portugal with monthly travel to European sites
Contract Type: 12-month contract (with opportunity to move to perm)

About the Role
Korn Ferry is hiring on behalf of our client, a leading global life sciences organisation undergoing a significant SAP S/4HANA transformation programme.
As part of the creation of a new SAP Centre of Excellence (CoE), we are seeking three SAP Functional Analysts to support the first wave of this transformation. These roles will play a key part in designing, building, and rolling out the new SAP template across European operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the functional subject matter expert within assigned SAP module(s), translating business requirements into SAP solutions.
- Support the design and build of the Wave 1 template across Finance, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Quality.
- Work with site-based business users and project teams to capture requirements and validate processes.
- Collaborate with the chosen implementation partner to ensure solution fit and delivery.
- Support testing, training, go-live, and post-go-live activities.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Travel to project sites in Europe (approx. once per month).
Areas of Focus
We are looking to hire across three domains:
- Finance (FI/CO) - group finance, controlling, reporting, integration with manufacturing.
- Logistics & Supply Chain - materials management, production planning, sales & distribution, warehouse processes.
- Manufacturing, Quality & Plant Maintenance - shop floor operations, GMP compliance, quality assurance, asset maintenance.
Requirements
Essential
- 5+ years of hands-on SAP functional experience in relevant modules (FI/CO, MM, PP, SD, QM, PM).
- Experience of at least one end-to-end SAP ECC or S/4HANA implementation or upgrade.
- Strong business process knowledge within manufacturing, supply chain, or finance.
- Fluent in English (project language).
- Willingness to travel monthly within Europe.
Desirable
- Life sciences or pharma sector experience.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements (EMA, FDA, 21 CFR Part 11).
- Based in Spain or Portugal.
- Additional European languages (Spanish, French, Portuguese).
