Contract: 12 months initially (potential to go permanent)
Korn Ferry is seeking an experienced Functional Analyst to support one of our major international life sciences clients. Our client is a fast-growing Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO) operating across multiple European sites, currently undertaking a large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation as part of a multi-year business transformation.
This role will be key to bridging the gap between business stakeholders and the technical implementation team, ensuring functional requirements are captured, validated, and delivered effectively.
Engage with business process owners across manufacturing, supply chain, quality, finance, and commercial functions to gather and document requirements.
Translate business needs into functional specifications and support solution design within SAP S/4HANA.
Partner with programme managers, change management leads, and data migration teams to ensure seamless integration of functional processes.
Support system configuration, functional testing, and validation activities.
Manage functional documentation (process flows, test scripts, requirements traceability).
Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical development teams to ensure alignment.
Provide input into training and change management deliverables.
Contribute to programme cutover planning, data validation, and hypercare activities.
5+ years’ experience in functional analysis within large-scale ERP or transformation programmes (SAP experience strongly preferred).
Solid knowledge of one or more functional domains relevant to life sciences manufacturing (e.g. Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Plant Maintenance, Quality Management).
Strong experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and translating business needs into technical/functional deliverables.
Background in system testing, validation, and user acceptance testing.
Experience working in regulated environments (GxP, FDA, EMA) highly desirable.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate across business and IT teams.
Fluency in English; additional European languages (French, Spanish) a strong advantage.
Flexibility to travel across European sites as required.
