Full Stack Developer

Position Overview

We are seeking a mid- to senior-level Full Stack Developer to support and evolve a diverse portfolio of web and application systems. This role will be responsible for maintaining legacy applications while progressively transitioning into a modern, cloud-native technology stack. The ideal candidate is adaptable, technically curious, and comfortable working across multiple languages, frameworks, and cloud platforms.

This position requires hands-on development, system maintenance, and the ability to respond to production support needs during business-critical periods, including occasional weekends and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support existing web and application systems built on legacy technologies, ensuring stability, performance, and reliability.
  • Implement small enhancements, patches, and updates to legacy applications as part of ongoing maintenance efforts.
  • Support a mobile application published in a public app store, including troubleshooting, updates, and minor feature improvements.
  • Gradually transition development efforts to a modern full stack environment, contributing to new applications and services as legacy systems are retired.
  • Design, build, and maintain full stack solutions using modern JavaScript frameworks and backend technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to understand system behavior, dependencies, and future-state architecture.
  • Participate in production support rotations, including availability during weekends and holidays when required.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of development workflows, tooling, and engineering standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Mid- to senior-level experience as a Full Stack Developer or Software Engineer.
  • Hands-on experience with frontend frameworks such as Angular and/or React.
  • Backend development experience with Node.js and PHP.
  • Experience working in cloud environments, including AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Strong understanding of full stack application architecture, APIs, and system integration.
  • Ability to work across multiple languages and tools without being tied to a single technology stack.
  • Familiarity with maintaining and modernizing legacy systems.
  • General knowledge of artificial intelligence concepts as they relate to software engineering, with a strong interest in expanding AI-related skills.
  • Willingness and ability to participate in on-call development and production support outside of standard business hours.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor or similar platforms.
  • Exposure to agentic workflows or AI-driven developer tools and products.
  • Experience building or integrating AI-powered features, such as chatbots or intelligent application components.
