We have partnered with our IT client in their search for an experienced Front End Developer to join them for an initial 6 month contract, with view to extend. This role is offered on a flexible hybrid basis, with the clients' office based in Dublin.
Responsibilities
- Build responsive, scalable web applications using JavaScript, Angular, and ideally Ext JS.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Integrate mapping libraries like Leaflet, OpenLayers, or ArcGIS SDK.
- Work with geospatial services (WMS, WFS, REST APIs) to bring spatial data to life.
- Partner with back-end, GIS, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Skills Required
- Strong experience in JavaScript and front-end frameworks (AngularJS/Angular), as well as ext.js.
- Experience in .NET
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON/XML, and web services.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and version control (Git/TFS).
Desirable Extras
- Knowledge of mapping platforms (GeoServer, MapServer, ArcGIS).
- Familiarity with geospatial formats (GeoJSON) and services.
