Our Financial Services client, based in Dublin, is seeking an experienced Front-End Developer to join their team on a contract basis. This role will support a large-scale transformation programme focused on modernising a legacy wealth management platform used by millions of high-net-worth retail customers.
This opportunity offers the chance to work on complex, integration-heavy systems within an enterprise environment, rather than purely greenfield development.
Responsibilities

- Develop scalable, high-performance front-end applications using React
- Build responsive, intuitive, and user-friendly interfaces
- Integrate front-end components with back-end microservices and API-driven architectures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including back-end developers, architects, and product owners
- Apply modern front-end frameworks, tools, and best practices
- Contribute to code quality, performance optimisation, and maintainability
- Work within a cloud-based environment (Azure preferred)
- Follow established CI/CD pipelines and SDLC practices (e.g. Git, Jenkins)
Skills Required

- 5+ years' experience in front-end development
- Strong expertise in React
- Proven experience delivering scalable, enterprise-level applications
- Solid understanding of REST APIs and microservices integration
- Experience working within cloud environments (Azure preferred, others transferable)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices (e.g. Git, Jenkins)
- Experience working within Financial Services environments
