Our client, in Northwest Houston, seeks a FP&A Manager to add to their team. This is a newly created position reporting directly to the CFO of a $500MM construction / real estate organization.
FP&A Manager Responsibilities Include:
- Develop processes and best practices around FP&A function
- Maintain a thorough understanding of business systems
- Lead the annual planning, budget and forecasting processes
- Analyze fiscal and operational data to assist with financial & operational planning
- Prepare routine financial reports for company-wide reporting and ad-hoc reports for operational decision making
- Prepare and distribute Performance Dashboard Metrics reports
- Assist in the preparation of month-end close processes
FP&A Manager Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Finance, Accounting, Statistics or Economics
- 1+ year(s) of supervisory experience
- 7+ years total experience related to accounting & FP&A
- Financial modeling and advanced experience with Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Successful experience in preparing financial reports, building and utilizing financial and operational decision-making models, trend analysis and forecasting
